Meet the Artists August Weekend Events
Amy C. Lund Handweaver, Studio & Gallery in Tiverton Four Corners, RI will be featuring several of it's artists over the weekends throughout the summer to highlight their work in the Gallery.

August 2nd & 3rd - Linda DePina of Paisley Jewelry Designs will be showing her Bead and Gemstone work. Jewelry making has become an outlet for Linda to express her creativity. August 9th & 10th-Teresa Mowery of Patina Studio will be exhibiting her fine Metalwork and Jewelry and Ed Melusky of "Put a Cork In It" will be showing his unique Cork Art. Teresa uses chemistry to create innovative designs in jewelry, furniture and accents for the home. Her work can also be seen on her website: www.patinastudio.com. Ed makes one-of-a-kind cork stoppers, utensils, napkin rings, and cork boards with recycled wine corks.

August 23rd & 24th- Amy C. Lund, Handweaver and Varick Niles, Painter will be featuring their work in conjunction with the 4th Annual Summer South Coast Open Studio Tour of 44 local artist studios and galleries from Tiverton, Little Compton, Westport and Dartmouth. Amy C. Lund is the artisan behind the Studio & Gallery and features her classic handwoven textiles. Varick Niles has exhibited her watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings of local landscapes and still lifes with the Gallery for many years. “The Secret Garden” - a production by the Hampstead Stage Company.
Frances Hodgson Burnett’s, “The Secret Garden”, is an enchanting story about a young orphan girl, Mary Lennox, who comes to live with her uncle in the English countryside. Through her curiosity and determination, Mary finds a garden filled with memories, that has been locked for years. Her youth and enthusiasm breathe life into each character she meets, bringing love back into the family. With this heartfelt story, we hope to share its message of hope, healing, and friendship.

Opening cocktail reception is on on August 21st from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with cash prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place as well as "judge's picks".
